In today’s fast-paced world, burnout has become almost inevitable. We feel it in our work, our relationships, the never-ending house chores—even in the task of planning our daily meals. It all becomes overwhelming when we don’t give ourselves permission to pause. A true reset is essential—not just to rest, but to return to gratitude for the life we’ve built and the responsibilities we carry.

One of the most powerful ways to reset the mind is to activate the body. Stepping outside your usual routine and trying new movements awakens not only your muscles, but your mental clarity as well.

At our surf camp in Santa Teresa, we offer daily surf lessons and guided ice baths. Just next door is a serene yoga studio, and the beach is only a one-minute walk away—making it easy to reconnect with nature, community, and yourself.

Imagine this...

You wake with the sun, stretching to the sounds of tropical birds and monkeys calling from the trees. In the kitchen, fresh local fruit awaits—fueling your body with the nutrients it craves.

You join a morning surf lesson, warming up with a friendly crew of fellow travelers. You step into the warm Pacific and paddle out to the lineup. Out there, the only thing on your mind is the rhythm of the ocean and the feel of your body moving with it. Our instructors guide you onto waves you never thought you’d catch—and as you drop in, laughter and cheers erupt from the group. You can’t help but smile from ear to ear.

Back on the beach, everyone gathers to share wipeout stories, celebrate big rides, and sip fresh coconuts under the sun. You taste the sweetest watermelon of your life.

After a local lunch of gallo pinto, carne en salsa, and sweet plantains, you return to the hotel to relax by the pool.

As the sun begins to set, you wander back to the beach. The sky lights up in colors you’ve never seen before, and you’re reminded of how much beauty still exists in the world—and within yourself.
