CAN I COME ALONE?
Our retreat is perfect for solo travelers or those traveling in groups. Run by the friendliest locals in town you will feel like you know all of Santa Teresa before you leave. The town is full of international travelers and locals, small enough to feel like family but big enough to expand your worldly view. You may leave here with friendships that last a lifetime.
DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE TO JOIN?
We teach all levels and ages from 3 to 103! Although it is important to be in shape and willing to get some awesome exercise, prior surfing experience is not required. If you have surfed before we are always excited to help people push their abilities and grow as surfers. Santa Teresa has many surf breaks which allow us to accommodate all levels.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
You can arrive by plane, shuttle or bus.
The domestic airport is in Tambor and flight arrive daily from San Jose. Book your flight with flysansa.com or costaricagreenairways.com. You then will book a taxi from Tambor to your hotel.
Shuttles are booked with tropicaltoursshuttles.com and take most of the day to arrive from San Jose. Book in advance online or over the phone
The direct bus from San José leaves from the Terminal 7-10. The bus journey time between San José and Santa Teresa is around 6h and covers a distance of around 174 km. Services are operated by Transportes Cóbano. Typically seven buses run weekly, although weekend and holiday schedules can vary so check in advance.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Surf packages include surf lessons throughout your stay, not including arrival and departure days, and with one rest day in between.
Every lesson will have a photographer to take videos of you and we do video analysis in the evening to help you progress. Transportation to the surf breaks is provided daily and fruits and water after surfing.
Yoga is offered daily with multiple styles and in the morning and afternoon. Surfboards are available for you to use during your stay as well.
You can contact us to tailor the package to fit your needs, if you would like more surf lessons, less yoga, or a longer stay we´re happy to arrange it.
You can choose to stay in a dorm, a private room with a shared bathroom, or a private room with a private bathroom. If you are traveling in a large group let us know and we can help find a house for you as well.
